visible to the entire community and so falls under the same rules as all naming
in the game.
Once created, you can view your companies place on the leaderboard, position is
graded in populatiry points, you can score points by winning races etc, researching
and investing money into your company.
You can also view the quality of your companies products and invest more into your company
on the 'Second Company' screen which is available from the Finance menu.
Tyre Manufacturers
If you have invested in a Tyre Manufacturing company, you will also be able to see the
tyre development details. There are certain rules you must abide by when developing tyres and these
are detailed on the Tyre Manufacturers screen.
The Development grid shows you how much staff you have assigned to the various attributes of tyre development.
Updating this grid is different to changing other things in GPMP. In this screen, all you need to do, is type the values
you want to be assigned into the various assignment boxes and click 'Update Assigned staff' - this will update all the
percentages at once.
Once your done developing your tyres, you can 'Publish Tyres' - basically this makes your tyres available to the GPMP community.
It may be worth doing this before development is complete on your tyres so you can get user feedback on where users would like you
to improve. Please note, only teams of 4 years of experience can use team built tyres.
Income
Please note, in any case, income is determined by the amount of money you put into your company and the
success you have on the race track, it is not determined by such attributes like how many teams run your tyres,
these sorts of profits are regulated by the GPMPGB (Grand Prix Manager Pro Governing Body) and distributed
according to quality of product.
Closing Companies
When you close down your second company you will lose all the money you have invested into it, including
initial start-up capital. Once closed you will have the option to create a new company.
