Engine Enhancement

This is where you research your own custom built engines. Your research will be substantially aided by a good Engine department. To begin building an engine simply specify the period of time for research and click go. You will be given a percentage increase your team will improve on your last engine (if you have one). This must be split between the engines attributes. Just as with the chassis, a low reliability - relative to the engine, makes you less likely to complete races.
Specify how much of the development you want to put into BHP, RPM and weight, the rest goes into reliability. Choose a name for your engine and wait for it to be completed.
You may sell (or rent) your engines to other teams, as well as fit it into your own cars by clicking the engines name and following the on-screen instructions. Your team will kindly allow you to use your own engine for free (minus production costs of course). If you wish to sell an engine you must specify a price per race and it appears on the market for other teams to buy if they so choose. If you are picky about who you sell to, you can always add a password - buyers can only buy password protected engines if they have the specified password for that supply.
